Rebecca McLynn graduated with her MA in Fine Art from Wimbledon School of Art. She has since exhibited across the Uk and in Ireland.   Her work has been selected for the Laing Landscape Awards and the Discerning Eye Awards, Mall Galleries, London.

Rebecca McLynn’s oil paintings, mixed media works and photographs are inspired by landscape, the details in nature and the quality and atmosphere of the elements.

She is drawn to specific wild, remote and unspoilt landscapes including predominantly the west coast of Ireland, the far north-west of Scotland and the Hebrides.   She captures the essence of these places using only a hint of figuration therefore allowing the viewer to contemplate on their own reminiscences of place and time.
