Gill Wilson works with plant fibre to produce sculptural artwork. She originally studied paper making in Japan. Over the past few years she has created work for clients in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Greece, the Middle East and Japan.

She is passionate about the creative potential of plant fibre pulps and uses this exclusively in her work, which is ecologically ethical and sustainable.  She uses a combination of traditional Japanese techniques as well as processes which she has developed through her own practice. The fibre pulp can be smooth or richly textured and dyed to any colour or tone, providing the most subtle graduations of tonal variation.
