Commissions and collections include EMI, Birmingham Midshires Building Society, Taylor Woodrow and the Jerwood Foundation.  She creates studio pieces, corporate art and large public art works.

Clare has always had a keen interest in sport (which includes a black belt in Tae Kwon Do) and her work often reflects this, its dynamic nature capturing a dancer balancing on point or a sprinter in full flight.  Clare Bigger’s sculptures are a revelation, a celebration of life and the spontaneity of movement.

She was born in 1967, brought up in Africa and has since travelled extensively with destinations including Solomon Islands, Bhutan and Costa Rica. She is now married with two children and lives and works in Lancashire but still finds time to go snowboarding, kite surfing , mountain biking and take part in triathlons.
